Board of Directors

The Board of Directors serve a two year term.

The Board of Directors consist of:

President

Vice-President

Secretary

and 6 Board Members 

in addition there are the following positions:

Board Appointed Officer: Treasurer

Board Approved Officer: Key Porter

There are also designated people to provide Maintenance Emergencies Only, after hours. 

 

The Board of Directors are assisted by a number of committees with volunteer members.

Complaint/Grievance Team
Promoting harmonious relations. 

Family Activities
Do you consider yourself a good coordinator? Enjoy kids? This Committee brings us together for summer barbeques, Christmas parties and more... and they have fun doing it!

Finance
Assist with the financial administration of the co-op. The Finance Committee reviews the co-op's balance sheet and reports its status and any financial issues to the Treasurer.

Inspections
This Committee inspects all units annually, and during the move-in/move-out.

Landscape
Participate in maintaining the natural appearance of the co-op by cutting grass, planting flowers and shrubs, removing debris, etc.

Maintenance
Assist with routine light maintenance of our units including appliance removal and replacement, replacement of furnace filters, etc.

Membership
Participants interview prospective co-op members, whose recommendations are reviewed by the Board of Directors for consideration.

Neighbourhood Watch
This committee patrols the buildings and common areas. 

Newsletter
Participate in assembling the co-op's monthly newsletter. All writers and artists welcome!

Parking Task Team
Monitors parking and deals with parking infractions.

PIP Auditor
Reconciles quarterly PIP participation of every member.

Playgroup
Help keep our playgrounds clean and attractive and participate in activities.

Web Site
Promoting affordable housing to York Region residents is the primary goal of this Web site. If you like to surf the Web, take pictures or know a bit about Web site design, you belong on the Web Site Committee.

Welcoming
Establishing that first connection with a new family at the co-op is an important and rewarding experience. The Welcoming Committee welcomes YOU in putting smiles on our new members!
